ISCRAM2008 air travel

Three airports serve the Washington DC area. They are:

Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI)

BWI offers access to Washington, D.C. via Amtrak train service. The airport has a BWI shuttle bus that takes passengers to the BWI Rail Station where tickets for a 30 minute train ride to Washington Union Station can be purchased. Monday through Friday, the MARC train service has tickets for $5.00 one-way trips on the MARC train Penn Line. Amtrak fares on the weekend are $13.00. From Washington Union Station, conference participants can walk directly to the Union Station subway station (Metro) and take the subway red line to Metro Center, where they will switch trains and board the blue or orange line to the Foggy Bottom Metro Station. The conference center is two blocks from the Metro station.

Dulles International Airport (IAD)

Dulles International Airport offers a Washington Flyer shuttle bus that takes passengers to the West Falls Church Metro station for a $9.00 fare. From the West Falls Church Metro station (on the orange line), conference participants need to take the subway to the Foggy Bottom Metro station. http://www.washfly.com/

Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA)

The Ronald Reagan National Airport has a Metro station on the Blue Line called National Airport station. Conference participants can take the blue line to Foggy Bottom/GWU Metro station and walk two blocks to the conference center.
