Papers for ISCRAM2009 cover all aspects of information systems for crisis response and management, broadly defined but still related to the general tracks, and may take the form of completed research papers, research-in-progress papers as well as practitioner presentations.

Type of Contributions

All tracks and special sessions invite research papers and practitioner contributions. Research papers should document established results and be presented to high academic standards. Research-in-progress papers may address issues still under development. Practitioner presentations may address issues based on practical experience and relevance but without the traditional academic focus on rigor.

Submission categories: Research papers (5000 words), Research-in-progress (2500 words), Practitioner presentations (250 words).

Submission templates are available at: www.iscram.org

All submissions made to general tracks and special sessions will be peer-reviewed in a double blind process. Submissions that do not qualify for acceptance in a special session will be transferred to the general track for review.

Submissions must be made online at the ISCRAM2009 submission site

Important Dates:

January 11, 2009: Paper submission deadline
February 16, 2009: Notification of (conditional) acceptance
March 1, 2009: Final paper submission deadline
March 9, 2009: Final author notification
March 22, 2009: Early Registration deadline
May 10-13, 2009: ISCRAM2009 conference
