Third International Conference on Information Systems for Crisis Response and Management

Conference Theme:
An author may submit any paper dealing with Information Systems in any phase, intersection of phases, and/or integration of phases of the Emergency Management and Preparedness lifecycle:

Planning, Training, Mitigation, Detection, Alerting, Response, Recovery, and Assessment.

Paper submissions are invited in any of the following formats:

  • Full Research Papers (word limit 5000 words);
  • Research in Progress or Practitioner Case Studies (2500 words);
  • Workshop position papers or PhD Colloquium submissions: 1000-2500 words.

Authors must strictly follow the paper formatting instructions according to the ISCRAM2006 template which can be downloaded here: ISCRAM2006 Paper Template

Overall acceptance on full research and research in progress papers is limited to around 75 papers. Prior acceptance rates for these papers have been around 50%.

Important Dates:

  • All Papers of all types due no later than (earlier is better): January 12, 2006
  • Latest notification to authors of review and decision: March 3, 2006
  • Final print ready copy by: March 17, 2006
  • Early registration December 1st 2005 to March 17th 2006.

All papers must be submitted to ISCRAM06@njit.edu.

Important note: Authors are encouraged to verify whether their work fits in any of the special sessions and workshops proposed for ISCRAM2006. Links in the main menu on the left lead to a complete description of all sessions and workshops and their chairs. If your paper clearly fits into one of the sessions or workshops above it should also be sent to the chair or co-chairs for the special session, in addition to the above email address of the conference.

If you paper does not fit into one of the workshops or sessions above, it will still be reviewed and if accepted will be put into a session created for it and related papers, or assigned to an existing session if appropriate.

For any questions on the appropriateness of a possible paper send an abstract as soon as possible to ISCRAM06@njit.edu or to the chair of the special session that you wish to submit to.
 
Conference attendance limit is around 200.
